Chris Koehler graduated from the California College of Arts and Crafts with a degree in illustration. Shortly after college he jumped into freelancing fulltime. As a journeyman designer, chris has done a full range of projects, from web design to magazine illustration. Despite a proficiency for digital arts, Chris's passion is drawing.

Chris has written, drawn, and self published over 10 books and has had numerous gallery shows and exhibitions. In addition to this, he has partnered with Laurent Planeix and Phil Viardo of the VBX Group to launch the clothing line Marceau, which has quickly become a favorite of celebrities.

You can most often find him on the bus or at toronado with a pen in hand and a sketchbook in his lap. He is currently freelancing and occasionally teaches at the California College of the Arts.

Chris lives and works in San Francisco.
